ABOUT

10th Annual BrewFest

The 10th Annual Thousand Oaks BrewFest is back LIVE on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Conejo Creek Park in Thousand Oaks! Get ready to join us for an exceptional evening of unlimited local craft beer, wine, spirits, tasty food, live music, and FUN! Festival attendees can cast a vote on their favorite beer, wine, or food vendor for the annual “People’s Choice Award”. The support of every attendee is meaningful and helps our community serve over 20 local charities. From all of us at The Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks, we thank you and look forward to seeing you soon!

relay_for_lifeWe are fundraising to support our community.

We support the Bikes for Youth Program – What a difference a bike could make in a teen’s life! The Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Bikes for Youth program’s mission is to provide bikes and safety equipment (helmets and locks) for at-risk youths in the local community to help give them a mode of transportation to get to and from school, activities, and part-time jobs.

Our program will work in coordination with local organizations such as the Safe Passage Youth Foundation and Conejo Recreation and Park District’s Teen Center to identify teens in need who are facing critical life challenges such as financial and food insecurity, divorce, bullying, homelessness, family illness, isolation, overcrowded living conditions or lack of access to on-demand transportation. We are seeking donations of 24″ and 26″ bikes.  We have given out over 166 Bikes as of March 2022.

We support Relay for Life – Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society, Cancer Survivor Luncheon – The club provides tri-tip and chicken lunch for cancer survivors, plus 40 other Service Groups and Charities within our community. It bears repeating, we promise you will never have more fun donating to charity ever!

10th Annual People's Choice Awards

BrewFest 2022 winners will be chosen by You in August

Our 2019 Winners

Congratulations to our 2019 WINNERS! They have earned the bragging rights to be the PEOPLE’s CHOICE! Without their participation and commitment to the community, we would not be able to give back to the 40 Service Organizations and Charities we support.
