10th Annual BrewFest A Tremendous Success!

Thursday, August 25th, 2022

Your support helps our community and its charities.

A few quotes from our guests this year:

You Kiwanis guys throw one heck of a party. Lines were short or nonexistent and it was a great time.”

Everyone was so nice. The vendors talked about the beers they brought, how the wineries made their wines and the food was wonderful.”

I’ve been coming every year since BrewFest started and we are definitely coming next year!”

This was a great event with excellent beer, wine, and food.  The band was outstanding!”

relay_for_lifeWe are fundraising to support our community.

We support the Bikes for Youth Program – What a difference a bike could make in a teen’s life! The Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Bikes for Youth program’s mission is to provide bikes and safety equipment (helmets and locks) for at-risk youths in the local community to help give them a mode of transportation to get to and from school, activities, and part-time jobs.

Our program will work in coordination with local organizations such as the Safe Passage Youth Foundation and Conejo Recreation and Park District’s Teen Center to identify teens in need who are facing critical life challenges such as financial and food insecurity, divorce, bullying, homelessness, family illness, isolation, overcrowded living conditions or lack of access to on-demand transportation. We are seeking donations of 24″ and 26″ bikes.  We have given out over 166 Bikes as of March 2022.

We support Relay for Life – Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society, Cancer Survivor Luncheon – The club provides tri-tip and chicken lunch for cancer survivors, plus 40 other Service Groups and Charities within our community. It bears repeating, we promise you will never have more fun donating to charity ever!

Our 2022 Winners

Congratulations to our 2022 WINNERS! They have earned the bragging rights to be the PEOPLE’s CHOICE! Without their participation and commitment to the community, we would not be able to give back to the 40 Service Organizations and Charities we support.
